Luke Vibert: Lover’s Acid

I spent a day in the office alone today. On one hand there are moments when another human being around would be nice, on the other hand you get to listen to whatever music you like without the risk of driving anyone mad. This morning was basically occupied by In Rainbows, but the afternoon - well - that was a different story.

I have had Luke Vibert’s ‘Lovers Acid’ for while and listened to tracks here and there but have rarely had the chance to listen to the whole thing, and I think I’ve got a new top 5 record, It’s top notch, I don’t know how I paid so little attention to it for so long. Today I did listen to the whole thing, 3 or 4 times.

Its all about Acid2000 and Come on Chaos, but there’s a lot more to like about this record.

So if techno/hip-hop fused bleeps, pops and beats are your thing (listen at Bleep.com) then check it out. You won’t be dissapointed. Well actually you might be, but I don’t care.
